Joe Schartz was recently named a national finalist in the FFA Risk Management Essay Contest. This event is sponsored by the United States Department of Agriculture. Joe will be notified soon as to whether he has been named a national winner. Ten national winners and their FFA Advisor participate in an all expense paid trip to Washington, D.C. May 6-10, 2009.
To compete, Joe wrote an essay on how he plans to control risk in his Supervised Agricultural Experience.
